Cakery, a dessert shop at 2624 Chestnut Ridge Road in Kingwood, is projecting an October opening, Community Impact reports. Owner Maral Veysalova plans a menu of handcrafted cakes and pastries with Mediterranean-inspired desserts, including honey cake, a layered dessert the shop calls Milky Bird, and traditional baklava.
