Twenty-one men were arrested September 16 in an undercover prostitution investigation in Harris County Precinct 4, the Harris County Precinct 4 Constable’s Office said, according to KPRC 2. The constable’s office said each man was charged with solicitation of prostitution, a state jail felony. Some face additional charges, including possession of a controlled substance, unlawful carrying of a weapon and displaying a fictitious license plate, and some had unrelated outstanding warrants.
Several of the men remained in custody as of the constable’s announcement, while others had been released on bond. The cases are pending in Harris County district courts, and a charge is an accusation, not a finding of guilt. The Precinct 4 Constable’s Office patrols much of north Harris County, including the Atascocita and Humble areas. KPRC 2’s report does not say where in the precinct the operation took place.
