About 35 fewer homes sold across the six Lake Houston area ZIP codes in August than in August 2025, according to Community Impact’s monthly housing data roundup. The median sale price rose in five of the six, with 77338 the only ZIP code to see a decline.
Homes moved faster in three of the six ZIP codes and sat on the market longer in 77044, 77339 and 77345. Nearly 71 percent of the homes that sold in August went for between $200,000 and $399,999.
The figures track with the wider regional picture. Greater Houston home sales fell 11.5 percent in August with a median price of $330,000, which Lake Houston Today reported on September 17.
