Community Impact’s weekend calendar for the Greater Houston area lists a Pink Ribbon Walk from 7 to 10 a.m. on Saturday, October 17, at Jesse H. Jones Park and Nature Center in Humble. It is one of two Lake Houston area entries on that countywide list, the other being Kingwood Oktoberfest.
The walk is an early morning item, which makes it easy to pair with the rest of Saturday. This paper’s roundup of five Lake Houston area events on Saturday, October 17 already carries Good Oil Days in Humble, Kingwood Oktoberfest, Bark in the Park, a pumpkin painting class and a trunk or treat, all of which start at or after 10 a.m.
