Harris County Judge Lina Hidalgo has called for a special Commissioners Court meeting to discuss the county’s use of Flock license plate reading cameras, ABC13 Houston reports. In a Substack post cited by the station, Hidalgo wrote that Commissioners Court passed a one year extension of the county’s Flock contract through June 2027 during a vote in May.
