Harris County Precinct 4 Constable Mark Herman put deputies on a zero tolerance traffic enforcement detail for the Labor Day weekend of September 6 and 7, targeting impaired, reckless and dangerous drivers, FOX 26 Houston reports. Herman told the station that Labor Day is one of the busiest travel weekends of the year and that deputies would be out in full force.
Precinct 4 deputies patrol the Humble area and other parts of north Harris County, so the extra enforcement applies on Lake Houston area roads through the holiday.
