Single family home sales across the Greater Houston region fell 11.5 percent in August compared with a year earlier, and the median sale price slipped $5,000 to $330,000, Community Impact reported using the Houston Association of Realtors monthly housing update.
The August figures also put regional sales 20.1 percent below the 2019 level, while affordability improved in 22 of the last 25 months. The report covers the Greater Houston market as a whole and does not break out Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita or Huffman separately, but it is the same market Lake Houston area buyers and sellers are trading in, and the same data set local agents price against.
