Lone Star College is now offering a Bachelor of Applied Science in early childhood education and teaching at two of its centers, LSC-Atascocita and LSC-Creekside, Community Impact reported September 16. The program started in August and requires an associate degree for admission.
The LSC-Atascocita Center sits in the heart of this coverage area, which makes the four-year credential available to Atascocita, Humble and Kingwood residents without leaving the community. Community Impact reports it is the system’s fifth bachelor’s degree, joining cybersecurity, nursing, emergency management and energy, manufacturing and trades management.
Lake Houston Today reported on Sunday that Lone Star College System enrollment topped 100,000 students for the first time.
