Lone Star College System enrolled 100,023 students this fall, the first time the system has passed 100,000, Community Impact reports.
The figure is up 2.81 percent from the 97,294 students enrolled in fall 2025, and up 17.45 percent over four years. Community Impact quotes Christina Hagerty, senior associate vice chancellor of curriculum and instruction, and Garth Howard, interim vice chancellor of student success, on the milestone.
The numbers are systemwide and Community Impact does not break enrollment out by campus. Lone Star College-Kingwood serves the Lake Houston area, and Lone Star College is part of this site’s schools beat alongside Humble ISD, New Caney ISD and Sheldon ISD. Lake Houston Today reported earlier this month that the Lone Star College-Kingwood fire training facility is now due in 2027.
