Monday, October 5 was the last day to register to vote in the November 3 general election in Texas, according to the Texas Secretary of State. Applications had to be received or postmarked on or before that date.
Two deadlines are still ahead for voters who are already registered. Early voting runs Monday, October 19 through Friday, October 30. The last day to apply for a ballot by mail is Friday, October 23, and the state specifies that mail ballot applications must be received by that date rather than postmarked by it.
Harris County voters in Humble, Kingwood, Atascocita, Huffman, Summerwood and Fall Creek vote in the Harris County races on that ballot as well as the statewide races.
Voters can confirm their registration status and find their polling locations through the Texas Secretary of State.
